Land Holdings
The Genesis vision has always been to maintain a strong land reserve. We hold substantial land holdings in Alberta and British Columbia that will sustain our development projects well into the future. Over the years, we have assembled a land bank of over 7,200 acres under our control. All our land holdings are adjacent to thriving towns and cities that make both our developed and undeveloped lands coveted assets.
In Calgary and surrounding area we own or control approximately 4,200 acres of residential/light industrial/retail and mixed use land. In the Town of Airdrie, we own roughly 800 acres of mostly residential land.
Acheson Lands on the western boundary of Edmonton we have 122 acres of light industrial land.
Genesis has substantial land holdings for development in British Columbia.
Buena Vista Ranch just outside Kamloops consists of 1,600 acres of residential/recreational land with tremendous future development potential.
Spur Valley, north of Radium consists of 1,140 acres of land for resort, golf course and residential development.
The Woodlands in Prince George is a 121 acre site currently undergoing development. Phase 1 was sold out and phase 2 is underway.
