Great communities start with great people. Genesis’ sponsorship and advocacy program supports the organizations, causes, and people that make a difference in our communities.
Part of being a true community builder is creating spaces for neighbours to spend time together and encourage social interaction. Genesis Land’s namesake recreation centres in Calgary and Airdrie are home to community sports teams, family gatherings, and four seasons of family fun.
Genesis Centre
The Genesis Centre in northeast Calgary offers fitness and recreation facilities, summer camps, sports leagues, and spaces for cultural get-togethers, promoting health and wellness throughout the surrounding communities.
Our donation to the 225,000 sq. ft. recreation centre was inspired by our pride in our northeast communities and commitment to having a continuous presence as a partner in the community.
Genesis Place Recreation Centre
We know that nothing brings communities together quite like individual and family-friendly activities and programming.
Genesis Place is of one of Airdrie’s top recreation facilities, with twin hockey rinks and soccer fields, pools and a waterslide, indoor track, and gymnasiums. Our donation towards its expansion and renovation helps ensure year-round activities and programs for friends, families, and neighbours to enjoy together.
