The first step is to do your research. Look at builders’ websites, visit their showhomes and ask lots of questions upfront to determine if your values and expectations align.
At McKee Homes, you can choose your homesite first or at the same time as your floor plan when you make your initial refundable deposit. Once you’ve made these two decisions, the McKee Home builders sales representative will guide you through any changes you may want to consider to suit your needs for your new home best. You will then write an offer to purchase with their sales representative. Once accepted and your financing is approved, the home planning process will begin.
It typically takes 9-12 months from the time you purchase your home until it is ready for move-in.
