At Stepper, the process for building a new home starts with getting to know you – and how you want to live. Choose a home style, a lot, a finishing package and a price point that works for you. Stepper Homes is there from start to finish, making sure that the home you envision is the place that you’ll be proud to call “home” for many years to come.

How long will it take for my new home to be constructed?

It typically takes between 9-12 months from the time you purchase your home until it is move in ready.

How do I select the styles, finishes and materials in my new Stepper home?

Stepper Homes offers Home Album, a designer-selected collection of palettes in their Bayview Showhome. Here, buyers can engage all of their senses and select stylish finishing options in one quick-and-easy location. If personalized touches are more appealing, Stepper Select is a concierge program that connects buyers with the best suppliers in the business. Stepper will help coordinate your appointments to make the selections process personal and seamless.

What is the difference between buying a new home and a quick possession home?

When buying a preconstruction home, you’ll have the ability to personalize the home exactly the way you like it. From the flooring, to the tile, countertops, lighting and paint, this is an opportunity to create the home of your dreams. A quick move-in home allows you to make your move on your own time frame.

How and when will the cost of building a new Stepper home be determined?

With a preconstruction home, the Stepper Homes team will establish an estimated cost, based on the base price, lot, architectural upgrades and anticipated finishing options. They will also let you know how much you might anticipate to pay with your monthly mortgage. When a quick move-in home is selected, you’ll know the total cost on the same day that you visit the showhomes.

How often will I have access to my home during the building process?

As soon as your home is under construction, you’ll be introduced to the extended team at Stepper and get to know the dedicated Site Supervisor who is responsible for the construction of your home. During the construction of your home, you’ll be able to visit your home as often as you like, provided that you are accompanied by a member of the Stepper Team.
