This Saturday on July 19th, national parks across Canada will be celebrating Parks Day. This annual event brings together thousands of people to national parks and historic sites across the country, to participate in fun, educational and family-friendly activities.
There are a number of Alberta parks taking part in Parks Day events, including activities like: sandcastle-building competitions, bear safety sessions, scavenger hunts, or you can always just enjoy nature or a campfire. With so many national parks close to our city, this weekend is the perfect time to rediscover Alberta’s natural beauty.
