At Genesis Builders Group, it’s not just about the house but the families that will call it home. With more than two decades of experience as home builders and land developers, Sales Manager Sanjeet Rai directly interacts with families as they look for their new home in communities like Huxley.
Rai shares what it’s like to be a part of this process and what he’s most excited about sharing in this up-and-coming community.
Passion Driven
As sales manager, Rai manages multiple communities including Huxley, overseeing and supporting a group of area sales managers, a title he held himself for 10 years. He says one of the best parts of his job is helping buyers find their new homes.
“You’re very instrumental in finding homes for families,” he says. “Finding a right fit for them, that is what my team does, and I manage all that.”
“This is such a competitive market that it’s not only hard for sellers, it’s very hard for buyers to know if they’re making the right decision,” he adds. “Guiding people through this big decision, it never gets old, so it is very, very, very, very exciting.”
Defining Perfect
In today’s competitive market, buyers feel a lot of pressure to find their perfect home. Rai says what “perfect” means can be different for each person. He’s seen interest in functional, efficient and flexible builds, along with multi-generational layouts, work from home spaces and room to entertain at home. With the current cost of houses, buyers also want all of this in smaller spaces to reduce cost.
Luckily, Genesis Builders Group can deliver. “What makes Genesis so unique is that we are large enough to offer strong choices, value pricing, but still be very nimble, so that we adjust to the market requirements and conditions quickly,” he explains. “I always say we are large enough to deliver almost anything, and we are small enough to know you well and offer a personal experience.”
Discovering Huxley
Huxley is the newest community that Rai has been a part of. The clean, modern neighbourhood design with a strong focus on blending urban and small-town living and plenty of green spaces are what excite him.
“On the grand opening day, there was a park where kids were playing,” he shares. “That doesn’t happen very often, so that shows the strong vision that aligns with customer experience – that’s what makes Huxley really unique in its own way.”
Rai says there will be both new and existing Genesis Builders Group models available in the community, including the award-winning model Mateo and the new, flexible Malik design. The new home options can span 1525 to 2500 square feet and can include main floor bedroom options, spice kitchens, legal suite readiness and space planning for growing families.
Huxley will have four Genesis Builders Group Show homes in Huxley and 19 home models in total, with a variety of square footage and layout options available for potential residents to view. Genesis Builders Group will be offering Duplex and Front attached Garage homes.
“Huxley will only succeed when the homes, the planning, and the families that are going to move in are all aligned,” Rai says. “Our focus at Genesis Land and Genesis Builders Group is simply to build the homes that work for real families and support the long-term requirements and vision of the community.”
