There’s nothing better than enjoying some time on the ice with your family on a sunny winter afternoon! Genesis Land hosted the Bayside Skate on Saturday, January 19 at 911 Bayside Drive SW in Airdrie, and we invited friends and neighbours to join us for an afternoon of skating open to all ages and skill levels. It was a wonderful opportunity for Bayside residents to connect and enjoy a free activity together.
A chilly morning turned into a beautiful afternoon, and visitors kept warm with blankets around a fire while enjoying complimentary hot chocolate from Sorso, courtesy of Genesis Builders Group, and delicious complimentary cupcakes from Avenue Cakery & Bakeshoppe, courtesy of McKee Homes. We even had a skating dinosaur join the fun!
Visitors were also treated to a VIP shuttle to our beautiful Bayside showhomes, where there were opportunities to win fantastic prizes—including a three-month Genesis Place membership! Back at the rink, visitors were asked to share what they loved most about their community for the chance to win one of five gift baskets, complete with a Starbucks travel mug, gourmet hot chocolate and a $50 gift card for Genesis Place! We received some great submissions and loved reading about the unique features that make people choose to call Bayside home, whether it’s the winding canals and abundant greenspace, features of their thoughtfully designed home, family friendly atmosphere, or convenient amenities.
