Symons Valley Farmers Market
This charming market is northwest Calgary’s only year-round farmers market, and is home to plenty of local businesses and artisans, selling everything from food to art and everything between. The market is open every Friday through Sunday from 10 am to 5pm, and is located on 14555 Symons Valley Road NW. In addition to the fantastic market every weekend, residents in EvansRidge and other surrounding communities can also enjoy the various events and expos they hold there. Country Hills Golf Club
This award-winning 18 hole golf course is just minutes from EvansRidge, and offers two unique golf courses and experiences—The Talons and The Ridge. The Talons course features lakes, views of West Nose Creek, while The Ridge course has a rugged appearance, parklike setting with rising cliffs. This is a private member championship golf club offering its members an abundance of amenities in addition to the golf, and more information is available on their website.
Nose Hill Park
This park is well-known to many Calgarians, and a staple in the northwest. The vast size of this 11 square-kilometre natural park, means it’s right in the backyard of 12 residential communities. With close proximity to EvansRidge, visitors to this park can enjoy plenty of walking/running trails, off-leash areas and has benefited from plenty of recent improvements. Aside from the great outdoor oasis at your doorstep in EvansRidge, there’s a ton of other amenities in this community too like shopping, schools, and fitness centres.
