The city is full of activities and buzz this week, because it’s that time of year, Calgary Stampede time! If you’re looking to take in the midway for the last weekend of Stampede 2014, here’s a snapshot of what to look forward to.
FRIDAY, JULY 11
- 11:00 am: check out the ‘Interpretive Program’ at Indian Village, where you can take tours and learn about the rich culture and heritage of the Indian Village.
- 11:00 am: characters from Sponge Bob Square Pants will be around at the BMO Centre for your kids to meet.
- 12:00 pm/2:30 pm: Dora the Explorer will be performing another adventure at the Coca-Cola Stage.
- 1:15 pm: The Stampede Rodeo kicks off, the event that started it all.
- 1:30 pm/4:00 pm: Famous hypnotist, Terry Stokes, will take the Coca-Cola Stage.
- 8:00 pm: Country music artist, Chad Brownlee, will play at the Coca-Cola Stage.
- 9:00 pm: Country music artist, Bobby Wills, takes the Nashville North Stage.
- 9:00 pm: Dallas Smith will be performing the final show at the Coca-Cola Stage.
SATURDAY, JULY 12
- 11:00 am: check out the ‘Interpretive Program’ at Indian Village, where you can take tours and learn about the rich culture and heritage of the Indian Village.
- 11:00 am: characters from Olivia the Piglet & Guess With Jess will be at the BMO Centre for your kids to meet.
- 12:00 pm/2:30 pm: My Little Pony Equestria Girls take the Coca-Cola Stage.
- 1:15 pm: The Stampede Rodeo kicks off, the event that started it all.
- 1:30 pm/4:00 pm: Famous hypnotist, Terry Stokes, will take the Coca-Cola Stage.
- 9:00 pm: Calgary Stampede favourite, Aaron Pritchett, will perform at Nashville North.
- 9:00 pm: punk rock band, The Trews, plays the final show at Coca-Cola Stage for Saturday.
SUNDAY, JULY 13
- 11:00 am: check out the ‘Interpretive Program’ at Indian Village, where you can take tours and learn about the rich culture and heritage of the Indian Village.
- 12:00 pm/2:30 pm: Dora the Explorer will be performing another adventure at the Coca-Cola Stage.
