Summer is just around the corner which means it’s time to pull out those bikes, dust them off and tune them up for a great season ahead. There are so many great pathway systems to explore in both Calgary and Airdrie!
We are excited to host our first community events of the season – bike tune-up pop-up events April 30th & May 1st. We have partnered with Cranked in Airdrie and The Bike Shop in NW Calgary for two days of tune-up clinics and pro diagnosis for your whole family and your bikes.
What can you expect from the bike tune-up pop up events?
You can book your 15 minute bike tune-up appointment ahead of time to ensure your slot or we’ll have a team on-site for walk ups! The bike experts will be able to assess your bike and walk you through some of the adjustments needed and how to care for your bike to help it last through the whole season.
Some of the adjustments that will be available during your appointment include:
• Seating adjustment & Setup
• Drivetrain Lubrication
• Tire Inflation
• Gear Adjustment
• Brake Adjustment
• Safety & Torque Check on bike
If your bike needs further maintenance, the team will be able to provide an estimate at their their bike shop. The pop-up is designed for quick adjustments and bike education.
Hayden from Hayloft Café will also be on site serving up beverages compliments of Genesis Land. We can’t wait to see you and your bike at the events!
