A lot of progress has been made in the past month on the Saffron development. Our construction crews have been hard at work, and the two multi-family buildings on Saddlelake Drive are well into the second and third phases of development (the most important stages).
Units 8326 to 8346
Saddlelake Drive NE
- The second floor walls are now in the process of being put up, and the crews are reporting that we’re 40% complete this phase of the building’s development. To give you an idea of where we’re at in the development, we’re in phase three of a five phase process (read more here).
- What’s next for this building? After the second floor walls are completed, our crews will be getting to work on the trusses. Trusses are supporting framework for the roof.
Units 8350 to 8370
Saddlelake Drive NE
- This building is 25% through completion of the subfloor on the second-storey. What is the subfloor? This is the foundation that’s put in before the flooring goes in.
- After the second-storey subfloor is completed, our crews will begin the framing for the interior and exterior walls. To give you an idea of what stage of the development that is, we’ll be in phase three of a five phase process (read more here).
